This design is well balanced with analog to digital
converter and LCD vario display inside LX1600 and big color
display, powerful 32-bit microprocessor and large amount of memory
inside Pocket PC. As NMEA source you can use GPS receiver or
Flight recorder. |

| 3. Easy software upgrades |
|
Usually you will upgrade only software in your
Pocket PC device. Upgrades will be downloaded from the Internet
and installed to your Pocket PC at home. LX1600 will stay fixed in
you instrument panel in your plane. |

|
Modular design enables you to change only one of
the components. You will be able to change Pocket PC device when
new and more powerful devices will be introduced. |

| 5. Sharing the plane |

When many pilots share the same plane each will
have its own Pocket PC with custom settings (data files and
program settings). When you would like to go flying, you just plug
in your Pocket PC and everything is set-up for you. |
