1. Home airport
This is new safety feature inside flyWithCE Navigator. New MapText window has been added to the program which shows the closest airport. If airport is not available than shows closest outland place. You can add this feature by selecting the "Home & Airport" or "Home & Airport (gl. ratio)" MapText in the Settings dialog.
You can select home airport and than Navigator will first display final glide information to the airport. If you do not have enough altitude to reach home, than program will search for alternative airport. To select home airport you should:
  1. Open waypoints window.
  2. Find and select home airport (press on the airport).
  3. Press More button.
  4. Press Home button.
  5. Answer yes to the question in the popup window.
Small house will appear in front of the selected airport.
To deselect the home airport (and always display the closest airport:
  1. Open waypoints window.
  2. Press More button.
  3. Press Home button without selecting the waypoint first.
  4. Answer yes to the question in the popup window.
When Home airport is selected new icon with H letter is displayed on the status bar. When H is dark on white background, than home airport is in reach. Otherwise white H on darke background is displayed.

2. Updated tasks
Additional task options
If you press on the Options button you will see two new options - Start time and Task length. These two settings will be useful for pilots who flies competition. Start time will ensure that you will not start too soon and Task length will display the time that you have left for finishing the task (instead of the task time).
Map text and task window time has been changed. There are two prefix characters. If time starts with S, than this is the time left to the start. If time starts with F, than this is the time left to finish.
ETA time
Program calculates estimated time of arrival. Four different average speeds are used to calculate this time. You can select this time by pressing to the bottom middle button:
  ETA MC - use current MC setting to calculate speed
  ETA RMC - use recommended MC setting based last lifts average to calculate speed
  ETA.Leg - use current leg average speed
  ETA Task - use task average speed
ETA time is displayed in the top right position for every turn point. If turn point is completed, than time is displayed. If speed is not available, than -:-- is displayed.
Improved average speed calculation
Algorithm for average speed has been improved and because of that you will get more accurate information.
Task related MapText are green.
 
3. Simulator altitude
You can select the altitude for Simulator mode. You can do that by entering the altitude in the Hardware dialog on the Simulator tab.
 
4. Bugs
Several bugs were fixed. One of them is waypoint sort function and the other one is the end of flight detection.
5. Support for new device
Support for Tasman Instruments was added with version 3.10.
